ក្រុមហ៊ុនយក្ស GOOGLE បានបញ្ចូលពុម្ព និងក្តាចុចអក្សរខ្មែរទៅក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធប្រតិបត្តិការ (OS) របស់ខ្លួនហើយ នោះគឺ Android 4.4, KitKat ដែលមានន័យថា នៅពេលលោកអ្នកទិញទូរស័ព្ទ Smart Phone នៅពេលអនាគត គឺវានឹងមានអក្សរខ្មែរ និងក្តាចុចមកជាមួយស្រាប់។ នេះគឺជាមោទនភាពរបស់ខ្មែរយើងដែលក្រុមហ៊ុនយក្សមួយនេះចាប់អារម្មណ៍ នេះក៏មកពីមានការជួយជ្រោមជ្រែងពីអ្នកជំនាញខ្មែរ ជាច្រើនផងដែរ។

សិក្ខាសិលាស្ដីអំពីបច្ចេកវិទ្យាGoogle ឆ្នាំ២០១៣ (GDG DevFest Phnom Penh 2013)
ភ្នំពេញ៖ អ្នកអភិវឌ្ឍន៍កម្មវិធី កុំព្យូទ័រ អ្នករចនាគេហទំព័រ អ្នកសរសេរកូដកុំព្យូទ័រ វិស្វករ បច្ចេកវិជ្ជាក្រុមហ៊ុន Google សាស្ត្រាចារ្យ និងនិស្សិតសិក្សាផ្នែកបច្ចេកវិទ្យាប្រមាណ៣៥០នាក់ នឹងជួបប្រជុំគ្នាដើម្បីចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍និង រៀនសូត្រពីគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកនូវការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍បច្ចេកវិទ្យាថ្មីៗនិងចុងក្រោយគេបង្អស់។

យោងតាមសេចក្ដីប្រកាសព័ត៌មានអោយបានដឹងថា ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងក្នុងគោលបំណងលើកកម្ពស់ការប្រើប្រាស់បច្ចេកវិទ្យាថ្មីនិងលើកទឹកចិត្តឲ្យមានបង្កើតអ្វីដែលថ្មី។ សិក្ខាសិលាក៏មានជាវេទិកាដើម្បីផ្ដល់ឱកាសដល់យុវជនដែលមានសក្ដានុពលផ្នែកព័ត៌មានវិទ្យាក្នុងការស្វែងរកគំនិតថ្មីប្លែក ក៏ដូចជាផ្លាស់ប្ដូរយោបល់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅកមលើវិស័យព័ត៌មានវិទ្យាដែលជាកត្តាសំខាន់ត្រួតត្រាយផ្លូវដល់ការបង្កើតបច្ចេកវិជ្ជាថ្មីៗ នៅពេលអនាគតក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។
ប្រធានបទសំខាន់សម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ២០១៣នេះ ផ្ដោតសំខាន់លើបច្ចេកវិជ្ជាចុងក្រោយរបស់Google ដូចជា Wearable Computing, Mobil & Clouds and Android program, Google Cloud Storage,Google Maps& Street View, Khmer Language on Google Platform, Google App Engine to HTML5”។
